Senior Night proved very successful for the Triad High School girls basketball team on Thursday.
The Lady Cardinals toppled Franklinton Prep, 60-41.
Seniors honored included Olivia Butz, Lydia Wenger and Bailey Perry.
Triad (4-17) jumped out to a 16-12 lead at the conclusion of the opening quarter.
Frani LeVan burned the nets for nine points during the opening quarter for Triad.
The Lady Cardinals held a 32-18 margin at halftime as LeVan tossed in eight of her game-high 27 points.
Twin sister Cati tallied seven markers during the third set as Triad took a 45-24 advantage into the final eight minutes of action.
The LeVan sisters combined for 45 points.
Cati LeVan tallied 10 rebounds, while Frani came up with six assists and four steals.
Abby Walls and Perry teamed for 13 rebounds.
Perry also helped Triad’s defense with five steals.
The Lady Cardinals will close out the 2019-20 regular season with a 7:30 p.m. contest on Saturday at neighboring Fairbanks.
