Triad’s girls hoop squad got back on the winning side of the ledger Wednesday.
The Lady Cardinals rolled past Springfield Northeastern, 67-18.
Cardinal senior Frani LeVan outscored the entire Northeastern team by notching 27 points.
She added seven assists, six steals and five rebounds.
Cati LeVan came through with 14 points, six rebounds and five steals.
Emma Ferguson tallied six points.
Cami Allison scored five points, followed by Abby Walls-four, Kaley Nott-three, Hailey Snider-three, Cayla Easton-two, Ashtin Fauber-two and Madi Cox-one.
Triad led, 10-6, after the first period and then held Northeastern to a single point during the ensuing quarter.
The Lady Cardinals’ advantage climbed to 32-7 at halftime and 45-9 by the conclusion of the third quarter.
The Lady Cardinals, who improved to 7-14, will play their first-round tournament game on Saturday.
They will travel to Sidney High School for a noon tip time against Fairlawn.
Triad is seeded seventh for the Southwest District, while Fairlawn is the No. 8 seed.
