The 2019 high school softball season came to an end for Triad on Saturday.
The Lady Cardinals dropped a 4-1 verdict to Felicity-Franklin in a Division IV district championship game.
The contest was played at Mason High School.
Triad plated its lone run in the home half of the first inning.
The Lady Cardinals, however, could not muster much more in the way of offense.
They were held to just three hits on the day as they finished their season with a 14-10 record.
Joni Russell struck out nine batters as she took the loss for the Lady Cardinals.
