North Union fell behind by double digits in the first quarter and could never get things going during a 73-41 loss at Bloom Carroll on Thursday.
The Lady Cats trailed 23-10 at the end of the opening frame and 42-20 at the half.
Zoe Wedding led NU in scoring with 14 points, while Audrey Benedict tallied 11 and Gabby Lindsey netted 10.
Kaitlyn Colegrove had six rebounds and Wedding and Brenna Martino each had four.
North Union is now 11-6, while Bloom Carroll is 12-4.
North Union won the junior varsity game 37-34.
Emma McElroy dropped in 16 points and Kailyn McElroy grabbed 10 rebounds
MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL
The North Union Middle School girls basketball teams defeated Tecumseh.
Led by 12 points from Chloe McElroy, the seventh-grade team (10-2) won 32-22.
Getting 15 points from Leah Cox and 10 points from Glory Blevins, the eighth-grade team (14-0) won 34-27.
The seventh grade beat Jonathan Alder 21-20 a day earlier.
The eighth grade topped the Pioneers 44-19.
Sam Price led the seventh grade with seven points, while Cox scored 20 for the eighth grade against Alder.
The boys teams played Tecumseh on Thursday, with Tecumseh winning both games.
The seventh-grade team (10-2) lost 32-29.
Alex Joseph, Ben Newell and Hayden Young each had six points for the Wildcats.
The eighth-grade squad (0-12) lost 50-22
Breyvn Martino had 12 points for the Wildcats.
BOWLING
The North Union bowling team each set high-water marks for season, but it was not enough they both lost to Indian Lake.
The girls team set a school record for total score and high game in a 2510-2378 loss.
Lexi Bahan (235), Emma McCaul (224) and Montana Donohue (213) helped the Lady Cats to a 959 game.
Donohue finished with a 411 series, while McCaul totaled 407 in her two-game set.
Alyssa Frisco had a 308 series and Olyvia Frisco had a game of 108.
The boys team lost 2510-2378, setting a high-game mark for the season.
Braden Rhodes and Logan Otten led the way. Rhodes had a 383 series and Otten rolled a 224 game on his way to a 372 series.
Also competing were Zach Howald (358), Owen O’Reilly (317) and Chase Copas (293).
