Marysville High School’s girls gymnastics team opened its 2018-19 season on Wednesday with a home meet.
The Lady Monarchs hosted Upper Arlington, Westerville Central and St. Francis DeSales at the Marysville Early College High School.
Upper Arlington won the meet with 131.4 points.
Marysville was the runner-up with 119.15, followed by Westerville Central-110.65 and DeSales-108.85.
MHS (2-1 overall and 0-1 in the Ohio Capital Conference) had numerous athletes who placed in the top ten in various events.
Those events were as follows:
-Vault: Lauren Deere, third, 8.15; Makayla Tocci, fourth, 8.10;
-Bars: Katelyn Rabe, fourth, 7.8; Grace Keller, eighth, 6.65;
-Beam: Keller, fourth, 7.9; Deere, sixth, 7.4; Rabe, ninth, 7.3; Lindsey Itnyre, tenth, 7.2;
-Floor exercise: Tocci, sixth, 8.6; Deere, seventh, 8.55; Brooklyn Heller, tenth, 8.2;
-All-Around: Keller, sixth, 29.95; Megan Erickson, eighth, 28.15.
