Marysville’s girls tennis squad edged Worthington Christian, 3-2, on Wednesday.
Monarch victories were as follows:
Singles
-Second: Hanna Hogan beat Mousa 6-2, 6-1.
Doubles
-First: Paige Hobbs and Alyssa Scott topped Shively and Nowery 6-7, 6-4, 1-0;
-Second: Krista O’Shelski and Caitlee Hill defeated Stone and Rettstatt 6-1, 6-1.
Emma Pzedpelski of MHS fell at first singles to Mayotte.
The Monarch netter retired after the first set due to injury.
Rouse of Worthington Christian scored a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 triumph over Blair Fairchild during the second singles contest.
