The Lady Monarch softball squad upped its record to 10-1 with a pair of victories on Saturday.
MHS edged Granville, 11-10, and rolled past Columbus Bishop Ready, 20-1.
Action came during the Battle for the Cure Tournament in Lancaster.

Abby Christian split time in the pitching circle with Tareyn Born during the opening victory.
She gave up two runs in 2/3 innings.
Born came in and yielded five runs in the fourth.
Christian returned to the circle and allowed only two base runners for the win.
Born led MHS with four hits. She homered and drove in a trio of runs.
Abby Gindlesberger and Haley Winans both had three hits.
Abri Schmutz and Christian both tallied two hits.
Christian homered and drove in a pair of runs.

MHS jumped out to an 11-0 lead after three innings and coasted to victory.
Born went the distance in the circle and picked up the victory. She fanned eight and walked just one batter.
Gindlesberger blasted a first-inning grand slam. She finished with a trio of homers among her four hits and drove in 10 runs.
Schmutz, Lexi Williams and Born each had three hits.
Jalynn Young, Avery Henry and Camryn Harbold each had two hits.
Christian, Skyler North and Chloe Heminger each had one hit. They combined for six ribbies.

The Marysville JV softball team defeated Dublin Coffman 14-1 in five innings on Friday.
The Monarchs had 11 hits and were led by Chloe Heminger, Abigail Wilkerson, and Ally Clementz, each with three.
Caitlin Regal and Ashlynn McAdow combined to limit Coffman to just four hits and walked only one batter.
The jayvees split a twinbill at Benjamin Logan on Saturday.
MHS scored three runs in the fourth and seventh inning to win the opener, 6-2.
Key hits came from Wilkerson, McAdow and Avery Prohaska.
Regal was the winning pitcher.
The Lady Monarchs could not generate any offense during the nightcap and fell, 7-2, in the nightcap.
