The Lady Monarch golf team captured top honors during a triangular match against Delaware Hayes and Worthington Kilbourne on Thursday.
Marysville carded a team score of 181.
Delaware Hayes finished at 192 and Kilbourne shot a 248.
Cassi VanDyke led the Lady Monarchs with a 44.
She was followed by Avery Prohaska-45, Emily Williams-45, Reese Cordonnier-47, Allee Forrider-50 and Ava Jackson-50.
“It was a great team effort,” said Lady Monarch coach Juliet Litzel. “When the girls have it all working on the same day, we can really post a good score.
“This was the best round as a collective team in a number of years.”
Monarchs triumph
Marysville’s boys golfers topped Buckeye Valley, 159-185.
Andrew Rabe and Myle Young paced the Monarchs as they both carded scores of 39.
Nick Wever was a shot back at 40 and Wes McHenry finished with a 41.
Earlier in the week, MHS took fifth place during an Ohio Capital Conference match.
Marysville shot a score of 334.
Dublin Jerome and Thomas Worthington respectively placed first and second with scores of 298 and 301.
Wever led the Monarchs with an 85.
McHenry shot an 85 during his first OCC competition of the season.
FHS wins matches
THe Fairbanks Lady Panthers won a pair of Ohio Heritage Conference matches last week. The Lady Panthers downed Madison Plains, 195-289 and toppled Greenview, 184-278.

Triad golfers fall
The Cardinal boys linksmen dropped a 204-207 verdict to Springfield Catholic Central.
Adam Mroczkowskie led Triad with a 43.
He was followed by Joe Williams-54, Braydan Hoffman-54 and Tyler Gross-56.
