The Lady Panthers moved to 3-0-0 on the 2019 soccer season with a 5-0 win at Columbus School for Girls on Monday.
Fairbanks’ Molly Olson opened the scoring just 9:43 into match on a free kick that went into the net from 25 yards.
Her goal marked the only scoring of the opening half.
FHS took a 2-0 lead with eight minutes gone in the second stanza.
Emma Cook put in that goal.
Olson stepped up for another free kick with 25:39 left on the clock and scored her second goal of the night.
With constant pressure in the Panther attack, Samantha Adkins hit a near post shot past the Unicorns’ keeper as the Lady Panthers climbed to a 4-0 advantage with 15 minutes left in the contest.
Cook added her second goal with 57 seconds left on the clock
Brynne Stanley was credited with the assist.
The FHS defense was air-tight.
Fairbanks keeper Avery Groves posted her third shutout of the season and tallied one save.
Emma Spangler of CSG was credited with 13 saves.

Jonathan Alder’s boys slipped to 0-2 with a 1-0 loss to Benjamin Logan.
