Fairbanks’ softball squad clinched a share of the Ohio Heritage Conference North Division title on Thursday.
The Lady Panthers went on the road and returned with a 13-2 verdict over Greeneview.
The triumph enabled FHS to conclude the OHC portion of its schedule with a 14-2 record.
Fairbanks shares the co-championship of the division with Mechanicsburg.
The team is now 17-2-1 overall.
Fairbanks led by a 4-0 count after the opening inning and tacked on six additional runs during the second and third.
FHS came through with 16 hits and played flawless defense.
Hailey Dee, Jenna Dee, Elizabeth Gregory and Macy Kise each finished with a trio of hits.
Jenna Dee drove in four runs.
Kise struck out 14 and did not walk a batter.
The No. 1 seed Lady Panthers will open Division III tournament competition at home on Wednesday.
They will play No. 20 Columbus Africentric.
