The Lady Red Raiders of London provided no challenge to Jonathan Alder’s girls during a recent basketball game.
The Lady Pioneers upped their record to 7-0 by rolling past their Madison County rival by a score of 55-33.
Sydney Bourquin led Alder with 20 points, including nine from beyond the three-point arc.
Mary Ferrito joined her in double figures with 14 markers.
The Lady Pioneers (who will host Columbus Bishop Hartley on Saturday) had the game well in hand after the opening quarter.
Jonathan Alder held an 18-5 advantage at the conclusion of the first stanza.
London’s offense broke out during the ensuing period with 14 points.
Based on their first period onslaught, however, the Lady Pioneers took a 31-19 lead into the halftime break.
JA led, 39-26, as the fourth quarter action got under way.

Lady Cardinals win
Triad’s girls improved to 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with a 41-38 victory over Southeastern on Thursday.
Frani LeVan tallied five of her game-high 15 points during the opening quarter as Triad held a 13-8 lead.
The Cardinals went cold during the second set and trailed, 19-18, at halftime.
Triad got back on track during the third stanza and took a 32-27 margin into the final quarter.
The Lady Cardinals will host Riverside on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Lady Panthers fall
Fairbanks’ girls dropped a 59-47 verdict at Greenon.
FHS trailed, 16-15, by the end of the first quarter and 33-29 by halftime.
The Lady Panthers (2-5 overall and 2-4 in the Ohio Heritage Conference) pulled to within 43-41 by the conclusion of the third set.
FHS (which will host Elgin on Saturday) managed only six points during the final eight minutes of action.
Elaina Lehmers led Fairbanks with 11 points, followed by Macy Miller-eight, Carly Lehman-eight, Lillian Miller-six, Megan Rausch-five, Emma Bookwalter-five, Emma Kugel-two and Gracie Pyers-two.

Triad’s seventh-grade boys hoopsters improved to 5-1 with a 39-26 triumph over Greeneview.
Caleb Thomas scored 27 points for the Cardinals.
The eighth-grade boys fell to Greeneview, 32-28.
Cam Thomas led Triad with 11 points.
The Cardinals will playon Jan. 6 at Greenon.
