Marysville’s boys hoop squad slipped to 1-2 with a 71-67 loss to Hilliard Davidson on Tuesday.
The Monarchs held a 17-16 edge after the opening period.
The contest was deadlocked at 33 by halftime and Davidson took a 53-50 edge into the fourth quarter.
Garrett Taylor and Jack Christian respectively led MHS with 21 and 20 points.

Triad’s varsity girls slipped to 4-6 overall with a 51-37 loss to Riverside.
Cati LeVan tallied 16 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Cardinals.
