The Lady Panthers of Fairbanks needed only five innings to club Madison Plains, 12-2, on Friday.
Fairbanks plated seven runs in the top of the third in running its record to 10-0-1 overall and 7-0 in the Ohio Heritage Conference.
FHS pounded the Eagles’ pitching for 18 hits.
Kyah Hendren had four hits in as many trips to the plate, while Elizabeth Gregory went three-for-three.
Hailey Dee tallied a trio of hits and drove in two runs.
Jenna Dee and Macy Kise both homered among their two hits.
Kise allowed two hits and fanned four to pick up the pitching win.
Maddi Sines pitched the final inning and struck out one.

MHS tops Darby
Marysville’s softball squad improved to 10-7 overall and 6-1 in the Ohio Capital Conference after a 12-2 verdict over Hilliard Darby.
MHS held a 4-2 lead after four innings and plated eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to invoke the run rule.
Josie Bumgarner smacked a three-run homer in the fourth.
Gwen Dyal finished with three hits and drove in a trio of runs.
Sienna Hutchins and Ally Clementz both tallied a pair of hits.
Ella Wood, Sydney Calhoon and Morgan Nevers each finished with one hit.
Bumgarner picked up the pitching victory. She allowed six hits.

Hayden Queen tallied two of the Panthers’ six hits.
Also hitting safely were Cole Justus, Aiden Luellen, Zavier Payne and Max Snyder.
Queen, Payne and Snyder were credited with RBIs.

Cardinals fall
Triad’s baseball record slipped to 0-10 overall and 0-7 in the OHC with a 16-1 setback at the hands of Southeastern.
The Cardinals were limited to just two hits and committed four fielding miscues.
Brodey Deam and Russell House hit safely for Triad.
Blayk House, Jayden Blackburn and House all saw duty on the mound.
