The Lady Panthers of Fairbanks upped their record to 9-6 overall and 7-3 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with a 43-38 triumph over West Jefferson on Monday.
FHS (which will travel to West Liberty-Salem on Thursday) trailed, 11-8, at the conclusion of the first period.
The Rough Riders took a 23-21 edge into the halftime turn.
Fairbanks turned the tables on West Jefferson during the third stanza.
FHS took a 36-34 lead into the final eight minutes of action.
The Lady Panthers hit 42% of their field goals (19-of-45).
Macy Miller led Fairbanks with 13 points. She connected on six field goals in 11 attempts.
Miller also climbed the boards for 12 of the team’s 30 rebounds and dished for four assists.
She was joined in double figures by Carly Lehman, who scored 10 points.
Elaina Lahmers and Megan Rausch both tallied five points for FHS.
Gracie Pyers came off the bench for four, while Emma Kugel, Ellie Carter and Lillian Miller each scored two.

Lady Monarchs triumph
Marysville’s girls hoopsters got back on the winning track with a 55-31 win over Hilliard Darby.
MHS held a 12-7 edge after the first period and took a 27-20 lead at the turn.
Marysville (which will host River Valley this evening) expanded its advantage to 39-27 by the conclusion of the third stanza.
The Lady Monarchs had three players score in double figures.
Tinley Graves tallied 15, Ava Krutowskis finished with 13 and Ava Wilkerson notched 11.
Other point-producers for Marysville were Kass Lee-four; Abri Schmutz, Madi Sloan and Abbey Williams-each with three; Alyssa Strahm-two; and Leah Brown-one.

NU girls win in OT
The Lady Cats extended their winning ways with a 45-43 victory over neighboring district Buckeye Valley.
However, it took extra time to get the job done.
The Lady Cats got out to a fast start, pulling ahead 17-6 at the end of the first quarter.
NU widened its margin to 26-14 by halftime.
The Lady Barons, though, did not go quietly into the night during the second half.
North Union struggled to find baskets in the third quarter as BV held the Lady Cats to only five points.
That allowed the Barons to narrow the spread to 31-22.
BV turned on the offense in the fourth quarter, outscoring NU 19-10 to force overtime with the score tied at 41.
The Lady Cats were able to step up to the challenge during the four added minutes to claim the victory.
Jordyn Hoffman led NU with 14 points.
She was followed by Abbey Price-seven, Jada Davis-six, Audrey Benedict-six, Ashlee Kohler-five, Sydney Parish-five and Taran Moran-two.
The Lady Cats have now won back-to-back games to push their record to 7-5.
The Lady Cats are expected to return to action Wednesday by hosting Indian Lake.
