Fairbanks’ girls varsity cross-country team placed third during Saturday’s running of the Ohio Heritage Conference meet.
The competition was held at Cedarville University.
West Liberty-Salem won the ladies’ race with 25 points.
Springfield Catholic Central was the runner-up with 42, followed by FHS-63, Cedarville-112 and Mechanicsburg-133.
Adeline Fitzwater led the Lady Panthers with an eighth-place time of 20:38.6.
Also scoring for Fairbanks were Kalor Greve, 10th, 21:19.4; Kaidie Carstensten, 11th, 21:56.2; Lexi Murray, 15th, 22:40.9; Lindsey Eddy, 19th, 23:19.8; Gracie Hubbs, 21st, 23:41.3; and Lily Demeter, 27th, 24:40.3.
West Liberty also captured the boys’ meet with 42 points.
The Tigers were followed by Greenon-50, Cedarville-53, Northeastern-111, Fairbanks-133, Mechanicsburg-147 and Triad-171.
Aidan Groves led FHS with a 13th place time of 17:54.7. He was second-team all-conference.
