Brennan Prochaska competed well during Sunday’s national youth gymnastics tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The 11-year-old finished 23rd in the nation out of 112 Level 8 gymnasts (12-year-old bracket).
Prochaska medaled in the vault and finished in the top eight in the nation with a personal-best score of 11.45.
He also had a personal best on pommel horse with a score of 11.55.
Prohaska, a sixth-grade student at Creekeview Intermediate School, finished with his best all-around score of 68.85 and scored more than 11 on all events.
That was his first time for that accomplishment.
