The Lady Monarch varsity girls golf team hosted the annual Marysville Invitational at Darby Creek on Saturday.
Dublin Coffman won the 13-team event by carding a team score of 320.
Olentangy Liberty took runner-up honors with a 348.
Rounding out the top six teams were Pickerington North-357, Grove City-359, Westerville Central-369 and Hilliard Darby-373.
Fairbanks placed right behind Darby with a 374.
Mary Weisburn led Fairbanks with an 87.
She was followed by Veronique Grand-93, Allison Kise-95, Kaylee Mitten-99 and Shelby Burns-141.
The Lady Monarchs placed tenth with a team score of 393.
Emily Williams carded a 98 to lead Marysville.
Cassi Van Dyke shot a 99, followed by Madi Wildermuth-100, Olivia Ishmael-101 and Kelly White-106.
The Lady Pioneers of Jonathan Alder finished with a team score of 498.
Madi Baker turned in Alder’s best score with a 109.
She was followed by Sydney Miller-114, Gretchen Roaden-134 and Annie Ratliff-141.
JA triumphs
Jonathan Alder won the boys Union County Classic at Marysville Golf Club on Saturday.
The Pioneers won with a score of 308.
It was JA’s third consecutive Union County Classic victory.
Michael McKelvey led the Pioneers with a 72.
No other JA scores were reported.
Fairbanks was the runner-up at 319 and Marysville was third at 333.
Seth Payne led FHS with a 77, followed by Travis Brake-78, Alex Crowe-79, Logan Bocsy-85, Andrew Crowe-89 and JD Welch-97.
Caden Fulkerson led MHS with an 81, followed by Gavin Cossette-83, Alden Prohaska- 83, Justin DeHoff-86, Cole Weaver-93 and Dylan DeLauter-96.
North Union did not have enough golfers for a team score.
The Wildcats’ top golfer was Cody Rausch with a 79.
