Marysville High School’s boys lacrosse squad recently edged Brunswick (from near Cleveland), 9-7.
Isaac Tocci scored six goals, while Mark Frendberg and Braiden Henson each tallied one.
Griffin Ahlstrom finished with 13 saves in the net.
The Monarchs also dropped earlier contests to Olentangy Berlin (15-3), Westerville North (10-0), Big Walnut (18-5), Thomas Worthington (18-1) and Hilliard Darby (23-11).
Frendberg, David Bonczak and Tocci each scored single goals against Berlin.
Ahlstrom finished with 12 saves.
He followed that with nine saves during the contest against Westerville North.
Bonczak tallied a pair of goals against Big Walnut.
Chris Wilson played in the net during that game and came up with 16 saves.
MHS’ lone goal against Thomas Worthington came from Frendberg.
Ahlstrom notched 13 saves.
Frendberg tallied four goals and Bonczak added three during the contest against Darby.
Adam Platt scored two, while Tocci and Aiden Raymond both added one.
Ahlstrom finished with four saves.
