The Lady Monarch varsity tennis squad slipped to a 6-7 record on Thursday.
Marysville dropped a 3-2 verdict to Westerville Central.
Mallory Huffman and Emma Pzedpelski of MHS respectively won the first and second singles matches.
Huffman shut out Choo 6-0, 6-0.
Pzedpelski downed Muniu by a 6-0, 6-1 count.
The third singles match saw Boyd turn back Marysville’s Megan Vollrath 6-1, 6-1.
Central’s first doubles team of Burks and Baker defeated Krista O’Shelski and Caitlin Hill 6-1, 6-3.
Rupp and Sen of Westerville Central won the second doubles contest.
They beat Hanna Hogan and Emily Thallman by a 6-4, 6-3 count.
The Lady Monarchs are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday.
They will host Reynoldsburg, with the match time slated for 4:30 p.m.
