Marysville High School’s freshmen and sophomore track and field athletes competed on Thursday during the ninth-tenth grade relays.
The event was held at Westerville South High School.
The Lady Monarchs placed fourth and the boys were ninth.
“As always, this event provided a great opportunity for our underclassmen to have the spotlight,” said MHS coach Luke Sundermeier. “They competed well as many tried new events.
“They are all excited for the future.”
Marysville earned places in the following events:
-Boys pole vault: second, 19-0 (Grayson Niemi and Tyler Calvert);
-Girls pole vault: second, 14-0 (Hayley Conrad and Lilly Cunningham);
-Girls 4×1600 relay: second, no time reported (Alyssa Rodman, Ava Zwiezinski, Olivia Elliiott, Katheryn Mager).
