Jacquelyn Witt led the Lady Monarchs’ fourth-place team finish (84 points) with a seventh-place time of 19:27. She earned first-team OCC accolades.
Davidson tallied 20 points to win the girls meet.
The Lady Wildcats were followed by Coffman-59 and Upper Arlington-76 in the top three.
Westland (163) and Central Crossing (172) followed MHS.

Katie Miller was 25th in the open race with a time of 23:42.
“The girls learned some important lessons about running in space and executing our race plans at OCC,” said Sundermeier. “Four of the top seven ran a PR, so indicators are positive leading to the district meet. We’re working to tighten a few gaps in the pack and getting mentally prepared to battle in the postseason.”
The Monarchs will compete in the Division I district meet on Saturday at Hilliard Darby.
The boys will run at 2:30 p.m. and the girls will follow at 3:30 p.m.
The top six teams and 24 individuals will advance to the regional on Oct. 27.
That meet will be held at Pickerington North.
