Several Marysville High School boys basketball players have earned Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division honors for the 2020-21 season.

He also averaged 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
Christian, who had previously been named to the Division I Central District third team, finished his prep career among MHS’ all-time statistical leaders.
He finished with 1,282 points, which ranks at the top of the school’s boys basketball list.
He broke the late Ed Nicol’s record of 1,208, which had stood for 65 years.
Christian’s other career Marysville rankings are as follows:
-Three-pointers: 200, first;
-Free throws made: 338, second to Nicol’s 426;
-Assists: 225 (92 this past season), fourth;
-Field goals made: 338 (seventh);
-Rebounds: 362 (tenth).
Christian was also named to the District 10 Coaches Association Super Team.
He will play with the OCC District 10 all-stars against the City League All-Stars on Sunday, March 28, 5 p.m. at Worthington Christian High School.
The boys Division II-III-IV District 10 All-Star game will be played at 2 p.m. that day at Worthington Christian.
Wyatte Miller of Fairbanks and North Union’s Preston Crabtree and Trevyn Feasel will play in that game.
Brian Terrill of North Union will be one of the coaches in that game.
Taylor, who had earlier made the Central District’s Honorable Mention list, averaged 12.4 points and five rebounds per game.
Taylor shot nearly 60% from the field.
Evan Brown and Ryan Barlow were respectively named to the special and honorable lists for the Cardinal Division.
Brown tallied 78 of his 122 points (5.3) average from beyond the three-point arc.
Barlow finished the season with 129 points for a 5.6 average.
Riley Karnes was named the Cardinal Division scholar athlete.
He averaged 6.2 points per game. A total of 90 of his markers came from behind the three-point line.
“I am extremely proud of our guys earning OCC and district honors,” said MHS head coach Ryan Grose. “Their hard work and sacrifice have earned them this recognition.
“Although these are individual honors, the success of our team and program also contributed to these selections,” said the coach. “I know these guys are appreciative of their teammates for helping them reach their goals.
“We will miss our six seniors (Christian, Garrett, Brown, Barlow, Karnes and Isaac Tocci) and we have some big shoes to fill.”
