Marysville’s varsity boys golf team tied for third place during Saturday’s 20-team Pickerington North Invitational at Pine Hill Golf Club.
The Monarchs shot their best team score in several years with a 322.
They tied with Columbus St. Charles.
Caden Fulkerson led MHS with a 77.
He was followed by Gavin Cossette-78, Andrew Rabe-83 and Alden Prohaska-84.
Dublin Jerome won the tournament with a team score of 301.
Cincinnati St. Xavier was the runner-up with a 317.
The Monarchs will host Hilliard Bradley on Tuesday at Darby Creek.

The contest was tied 1-1 at halftime.
Sam Skidmore tallied his first varsity goal for the Monarchs.
Grant Kaifas tallied 12 saves.
The MHS jayvees dropped a 4-1 verdict to Gahanna.
Cory Cordell scored the Junior Monarchs’ lone goal.
It was his fourth goal in three games.
