Marysville’s varsity girls tennis squad slipped to 7-10 overall and 2-3 in the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division on Monday.
The Lady Monarchs were edged by Big Walnut, 3-2.
MHS won both doubles matches.
Krista O’Shelski and Caitlin Hill won the first doubles contest.
They turned back Lefevre and Ambrose 6-2, 6-4.
Hanna Hogan and Emily Thallman beat L. Stevens and Wagner during the second doubles match by a 7-5, 7-6 count.
Singles results were as follows:
-Ehlers (BW) beat Emma Pzedpelski 6-2, 6-2;
-Mallory Huffman (M) lost by injury disqualification;
-Smith (BW) downed Molly Armstrong, 6-3, 6-1.
