The Monarch boys tennis squad turned back Hilliard Davidson, 3-2, on Wednesday.
Gianni Russo and Will Nuspl claimed victories respectively at first and second singles.
Russo scored a 6-0, 6-4 verdict over Murlin.
Nuspl turned back J. Crawford 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
Soorya Loganand of MHS dropped the third singles match.
He fell 4-6, 0-6 to Bordjadze.
The Monarchs lost the first doubles match.
Temelkoff and Kim of Hilliard Davidson beat Marysville’s Kyrell Stauffer and Noah Burhanna 2-6, 6-3, 7-6.
MHS’ second doubles team of Zach Nusbaum and Brady Scott beat Crawford and Houseworth 6-0, 6-1.
JA falls
Jonathan Alder’s netters dropped a 3-2 verdict to Delaware Hayes.
