The Lady Monarch varsity gymnastics squad remained unbeaten in the Ohio Capital Conference after a home meet on Wednesday.
The event was held at the Marysville Early College High School.
MHS hosted a quad meet that Olentangy Berlin won with 135.1 points.
The Lady Monarchs were the runners-up with 126.1, followed by Grove City-122.45 and Westerville Central-108.45.
Grove City was MHS’ league competition during the meet.
In beating the Greyhounds, the Lady Monarchs upped their OCC record to 4-0.
They are 9-2 overall.
Marysville placed in the top five in the following events:
Vault
-Mary Calvert, second, 8.3; Brynn Rychlik, fourth, 8.0; Kaylene Baschnagel, fifth, 7.9.
Bars
-Calvert, third, 8.6.
Balance beam
-Jenny McKillen, fifth, 8.2.
Floor exercise
-Calvert, first, 8.6.
All-Around
-Calvert, fourth, 33.0.
Bayleigh Miller of Fairbanks is the lone Lady Panther gymnast competing in meets during the current season.
As such, she participates as a solo athlete along with the Lady Monarchs during Marysville meets.
Miller finished as follows in the following events on Wednesday:
-Vault: 13th, 7.2; balance beam, 25th, 5.2; and floor exercise, 26th, 5.6.
