The Lady Monarch swimming team put another victory in the book on Wednesday.
The MHS girls defeated Thomas Worthington, 99-89, during a dual meet.
The Marysville boys dropped a 122-67 verdict to the Cardinals.
“We have had four meets in the past six days, so our swimmers are just wiped out,” said MHS coach Beth Seaman.
“The fact that we are so tired and still accomplished so many great swims (with a number of personal bests) just proves we are headed in the right direction.”
First-place finishes for the Monarchs were:
Girls
-200 Medley Relay: 2:01.27 (Mikayla Seman, Molly Gregory, Morgan Grawe, Alekah Daniels);
-50 Freestyle: Grawe, 25.86;
-100 Butterfly: Gregory, 1:07.50;
-100 Freestyle: Daniels, 1:01.05;
-500 Freestyle: Gregory, 5:48.50;
-200 Freestyle Relay: 1:50.43 (Gregory, Daniels, Seman, Grawe).
Boys
-100 Butterfly: Hank Luther, 58.93.
