Marysville’s boys and girls track and field teams opened the 2022 season with triangular meets at Thomas Worthington High School.
The host Cardinals won both meets.
Thomas Worthington tallied 73 points to earn top honors during the boys meet.
Marysville was the runner-up with 58, while Delaware Hayes finished with 43.
The Lady Cardinals notched 89 points for first-place accolades.
MHS’ girls scored 48 to earn runner-up honors.
Delaware Hayes finished with 41.

“Overall, it was a fantastic start to our spring season,” said Marysville head coach Luke Sundermeier.
“With the chilly temperature and spring break, our athletes learned to navigate unique circumstances at a high level,” he said.
“Our main focus going into the meet was simply to compete and build towards much bigger goals down the road.”
The Monarchs are scheduled to compete on Saturday at the Upper Arlington Invitational.
Field events are set to begin at 10 a.m.
Running events are slated to start at 10:30 a.m.
