The Marysville High school boys varsity wrestling squad placed second during the 10-team Kettering Fairmont Firebird Classic on Saturday.
Upper Arlington won the team title with 286 points and the Monarchs tallied 256.5.
Rounding out the team scoring were Fairmont-249, Cincinnati Colerain-232, Wapakoneta-216, Hilliard Bradley-212, Eaton-186, Carroll-63, Tecumseh-53 and Stebbins-46.

Cardinals, Panthers compete
Triad’s wrestlers placed fifth during Saturday’s 17-team Madison Plains Golden Eagle Invitational.
Utica and Circleville were first and second with respective point totals of 267 and 266.
The Cardinals finished with 124 points.
Fairbanks placed 16th with 12 points.
