Marysville’s varsity wrestlers got back on the winning track during Thursday’s 52-21 triumph over Hilliard Davidson.
The victory upped MHS’ Ohio Capital Conference Central Division record to 3-7.
“Our goal was to get out early and score points,” said Monarch head coach Shawn Andrews.
The teams contested 12 matches as there were a pair of forfeits.
MHS outscored Davidson 45-18 during the opening periods for the evening.
Andrews has always stressed scoring bonus points.
The Monarchs tallied bonus points during nine of their 10 match victories.
“This type of detail has to be little things we focus on match-by-match to continue to improve toward the end of the season,” said Andrews.
