Marysville’s boys tennis team moved into a three-way tie at the top of the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division.
The Monarchs are deadlocked with Dublin Jerome and Olentangy after a 4-1 verdict over Olentangy.
Gianni Russo and Will Nuspl won singles matches.
Russo turned back S. Sriram 6-2, 6-4.
Nuspl downed Kumar 6-2, 2-6, 6-0.
Marysville’s first doubles team of Soorya Loganand and Brady Scott beat Somapailli and Kasiraman 7-6, 0-6, 6-2.
The second doubles team of Zach Nusbaum and Jonny Sharrock topped Dendukuri-Blankemeyer 6-4, 6-2.
Noah Burhanna of MHS lost the second singles match to Cheung 1-6, 2-6.
The match began on Tuesday of this week and was suspended due to inclement weather.
It was completed on Thursday.
Pioneers triumph
Jonathan Alder’s netters turned in a 4-1 victory over Springfield Shawnee.

-Gideon Sullivan (JA) beat Auckerman (S) 6-2, 6-1;
-Josh Weakley (JA) topped Kusmierecyk (S) 7-5, 7-5;
-Wells (S) downed Max Metz (JA) 7-5, 4-6, 3-0 (injury).
Doubles
-Drew Corbitt/Connor Boggs (JA) defeated Naill/Shrestha (S) 6-2, 6-2;
-Seth Dickman/Noah Kuck (JA) downed Kusmiercyk/Vanetta (S) 6-0, 6-0.
