Marysville’s girls varsity tennis team fell at Reynoldsburg, 4-1, on Wednesday.
The lone MHS victory came at second doubles as Krista O’Sheski and Caitlee Hill beat B. Harrison and L. Dunlap 6-3, 6-0.
Other match results were as follows:
Singles
-Emma Pzedpelski lost 2-6, 1-6 to O. Cox;
-Caroline Geraghty fell 7-6, 4-6, 4-6 to H. Chaffin;
-Chloe Bryan dropped an 0-6, 3-6 verdict to N. Harris;
Doubles
-Ellie Williams and Maddie Blaisdell lost 4-6, 6-7 to A. Swift and R. Toole.
MHS slipped to 5-3 with the setback.
The Lady Monarchs are 1-0 in the Ohio Capital Conference Central Division.
Marysville’s jayvee squad improved to 5-1-1 by beating Reynoldsburg.

-First singles: Alyssa Scott won 8-6;
-Second singles: Alissa Wilms lost 6-8;
-Third singles: Blair Fairchild won 8-2;
-First doubles: Ellie Nuspl and Liv Warner won 8-0;
-Second doubles: Megan Vollrath and Emily Thallman won 8-1;
-Third doubles: Molly Armstrong and Briannah Sparks won 8-1;
-Fourth doubles: Gigi Bix and Emma Flint won 8-3;
A pair of exhibition matches were also played.
Taylor Lewis won her match 8-2.
Kyla Kaspar and Princess Pena fell 3-8.
