Doubles
-Reed VanKirk-Grant Welsch (JA) topped Goldberger-Smith (B) 7-5, 6-2;
-Grossman-Young (B) defeated Gideon Sullivan-Isaac Banks (JA) 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
Monarchs fall
Marysville’s netters lost a 3-2 match to Thomas Worthington.
Gianni Russo of MHS won the first singles match with a 6-2, 6-4 verdict over Hughes.
The Monarchs’ second doubles team of Mason Ice and Kyrell Stauffer defeated Scharff and Gattikoppula by a 3-6, 6-0, 5-2 count.
In other singles matches, Worthington’s Yablok topped Brady Scott 6-0, 6-1 and Mahoney of TW beat Aiden Crouso 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
MHS’ first doubles team of Cory Cordell and Jacob Market lost to Riegert and Nisthauz 6-1, 6-4.
