The Wildcats continued to pound away, taking a 54-41 spread into the final eight minutes of action.
Preston Crabtree and Zach Vernon respectively led NU with 24 and 22 points.
Owen Davis and Aaron Krebehenne each tallied 11.
Hudson Davis added two points.

FHS (0-1) trailed 39-38 with 4.9 seconds to play.
The Panthers then missed the front end of the one-and-one.
West Liberty hit a late charity toss to ice the game.
Fairbanks jumped out to a 14-5 lead by the end of the first period.
FHS committed turnovers and hit only one-of-six from the field during the second quarter.
West Liberty took a 22-16 lead at the turn and held a 33-29 margin by the end of the third period.
The Panthers will play at Mechanicsburg on Friday.
