Fairbanks and North Union each had teams qualify for the Division III district bowling tournament.
North Union finished second overall in the girls sectional tournament on Saturday at HP Lanes with a total count of 3373.
Mechanicsburg earned the first-place slot at 3734 while Fairbanks was seventh at 2968.
The top 12 teams advance to district.
The Lady Cats were led by Lexi Bahan, who had a three-game series of 558. She finished fifth overall individually.
Ryleigh Rasey counted 505 in her series and was followed by Montana Donohue (478) and Alyssa Frisco (433).
Emma McCaul had a two-game series of 291.
Jasmine Wampler tallied the high series for the Lady Panthers at 510.
Uly Vollrath scored a 459 series and was followed by Emma Milleson (425), Bella Nichols (376) and Amelia Nicol (367).
Both teams will return to HP Lanes on Tuesday for the district tournament.
Fairbanks finished fourth in the boys tournament on Friday with a score of 3620.
Pleasant was the sectional champion with a final total of 4224.

Nate Russell paced the Panthers with a 660 series, which placed him sixth individually.
Also finishing in the top ten was Colin Buchholz with a score of 567.
Chase Shope posted a 531 series and was followed by Hayden Buchholz (498).
Zack Koenig had a 246 over two games and Konrad Reidman had a 128 game.
North Union finished 26th with a score of 2669.
Zach Howald led the Wildcats with a series of 462 and was followed by Chase Copas (402), Braden Rhodes (366) and Logan Otten (349).
Owen O’Reilly bowled two games (203) and Gavin Amrine had one game (92).
The district boys tournament is also Tuesday at HP Lanes.
