Fairbanks’ boys golf team tied a school record during a triangular match victory on Monday.
The Panthers carded a 149, which ties the school mark for a nine-hole team score.
The record was first set in 2008.
FHS (7-0 in the Ohio Heritage Conference) won the match as Southeastern finished with a 172 and Madison Plains shot a 259.
Alex Crowe and Chase Brackenridge led the Panthers with a matching scores of 37.
Cole Eger finished at 39 and Tyler Ufferman shot a 36.
Cardinal boys fall
Triad’s boys fell to Greenon, 188-231.
Adam Mroczkowski led the Cardinals with a 52, followed by Caleb Hostetler-53, Braydan Hoffman-59 and Evan Ziegler-67.
Triad girls drop match
The Lady Cardinals lost to Mechanicsburg, 221-283.
Alli Gregg led Triad with a 65.
She was followed by Megan McMannaway-70 and Ella Campbell and Ashtyn Millice-both with 74s.
JV linksmen win
Marysville’s junior varsity boys golfers recently defeated Buckeye Valley, 185-220.
Max Ball led the Monarchs with a 42.
He was followed by Johnathon Cusack-46, Camden Russell-46 and Jack Golla-51.
