Managing editor Chad Williamson and sports editor Tim Miller are currently waging a fierce battle for the top of the Pigskin Pickers.
Both posted 8-1 records last week. Their only loss came during the Pitt-Louisville game.
Williamson leads for the season at 31-4, while Miller is a game back at 30-5.
Reporter Mac Cordell remains just a game back of Miller.
He went 7-2 last week and is 29-6 for the season.
Publisher Kevin Behrens tallied a 7-2 record a week ago and is 27-8 for the campaign.
Sports reporter Sam Dillon slipped to 6-3 and is 26-9 for the year.
The Bengals-Eagles game did not count in the standings, since it ended in a tie.
Our guest Pickers are Dave Laslow of Burger King, Dean Cook of Dean Cook Nationwide Insurance, Bob Van Hoose of Van Hoose Garage Doors and Rob Eubanks of Eubanks Electric.

Disclaimers:
Williamson: “Tough high school and college games this week. Marysville is rolling, so I’m not going against them. Fairbanks has a tough matchup with West Jeff and I’m not sure about picking Alder. London looks to have a legit team this year for sure. The Cowboys have too much firepower for the Browns and Uncle Rico has the Jaguars playing better than they should be.”
Miller: “The Monarchs have an opportunity to win an OCC divisional title, so let’s hope that happens.”
Behrens: Now that Jim Dandy Dillon is in last place, I don’t need to go out on a limb like I did last week. However, the Monarchs will be tested by the Braves I can only remember two times since joining the OCC in 1991 that the Marysville has played for the title…tip of the cap to coach Brent Johnson.”
Cordell: “Whew! What a slate! It feels like we are finally separating the bad teams, the good teams and the really good teams. This week should tell us a lot about our local teams and what to expect going into the playoffs.”
Dillon: “Triad can close out the season with a potential win and carry themselves into the playoffs with some momentum. The North Union game should be interesting for the simple fact there may be a lot of different faces out there in preparation for Week 7.”
Laslow: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Cook: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Van Hoose: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Eubanks: “Good luck to the local teams!”
