Jonathan Alder’s girls tennis team is led by several returning lettermen this fall.
They include first doubles players Abigail Watkins and Elisa Watkins and singles players Chloe Sullivan, Brooklyn Banks and Georgie Wheeler.
Letterman Ali Craig and newcomer Maddie Wilson have formed the second doubles team.
“We should have a strong team this year with the returning players,” said JA head coach Brett Fuller.
The Watkins sisters have not suffered a league loss in the past two years.
“They look to go undefeated this year and have already won their flight in an invitational tournament,” said Fuller.
The Pioneer coach feels his squad can once again contend for a Central Buckeye Conference title.
Other strong teams in the circuit include Springfield Shawnee and Tecumseh.
