The Lady Panthers of Fairbanks saw their Division III soccer tournament hopes conclude on Tuesday.
FHS (11-7), the No. 4 seed, dropped a 2-0 verdict at No. 1 Grandview (13-2-3).
Madi Cook finished with 11 saves in the net for the Panthers.
Grandview’s stout defense prevented FHS from attempting any shots on goal.

JA campaign ends
The season came to an end for Jonathan Alder’s boys soccer squad.
JA, the No. 11 seed, fell to third-seeded Columbus St. Francis DeSales, 6-0, during a Division II match on the Stallions’ home field.
The Pioneers finished the 2020 campaign with a record of 5-8-3.
