Triad’s boys basketball team continued to struggle on Monday.
The Cardinals slipped to 1-11 with a 55-40 setback at the hands of Marion Harding.
The Presidents jumped out to a 20-10 advantage after the opening period of the non-conference contest.
Harding climbed to a 43-18 margin by halftime and took a 51-26 spread into the final eight minutes of action.
Batai Lease and Ayden Spriggs both tallied 10 points for the Cardinals.
Carson Manley scored eight, followed by Jacob Warner-six, Jalen Nott-four and Maison Johnson-two.
Triad will return to action this evening by playing at Fairbanks.
Tip-off time for the junior varsity contest is 6 p.m.
