The Triad Cardinals picked up their first win of the season with a 34-0 victory over Buckeye Central Friday.
The Cardinals; Awesome Mitchell was on full display as he score three rushing touchdowns for Triad in the first half.
Derek Bails linked up with Logan Harper for a 28-yard passing touchdown to give the Cardinals a 27-0 lead by the half.
Triad had one more TD up its sleeve when Hayden Simpson found some space to pick up a 64-yard rushing touchdown to start the third quarter.
That gave the Cardinals a 34-0 lead.
The Triad defense held the Bucks in the final two quarters to notch the shut out.
Triad will be back on the road in Week 3 to take on Cedarville. The game is scheduled for 7p.m.
