Devin Butz was the match medalist on Tuesday as Triad’s boys golf team topped West Jefferson, 201-221.
Butz led all golfers in the field by carding a 47.
Other Cardinal scores were Cole Pond and Payton Oyer-each with a 50 and Jalen Nott-54.
Panthers win
Fairbanks’ boys defeated West Liberty, 152-189.
Travis Brake and Seth Payne tied for top honors with scores of 36.
They were followed by Andrew Crowe-39, Alex Crowe-41 and Logan Bocsy-42.
Lady Cardinals fall
Triad’s girls slipped to 2-5 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with a 231-232 setback to Greenon.
Joni Russell led the Lady Cardinals with a 53, followed by Anna Nott-55, Olivia Butz-61 and Audra Millice-63.
Lady Cats drop match
North Union’s girls struggled against their Central Buckeye Conference foe Urbana as they fell 208-243 at Mill Creek Golf Course.
Cami Craft led the Lady Cats during the nine-hole event with a score of 53.
Katlyn Saunders turned in a 60 and Emma Saunders followed with a 64.
Kendra Nicol carded a 66, followed by Hemmi Mullins-69 and Lilly Taylor-72.
The Lady Cats are now 1-3 in CBC action and will return to the links on Monday when they take on Urbana at the Urbana Country Club.
Bunsold girls win
Bunsold’s Lady Monarch defeated Delaware 245-272.
Reese Cordonnier led the team with a 55, while Cameron McGlenn notched a season-low score of 61.
