Since 1988 and the start of this titanic struggle, there hasn’t been much in the way of perfection. However a pair of Pigskin Pickers posted perfect records last week.
Managing editor Chad Williamson and sports editor Tim Miller were both 7-0.
Williamson leads for the season with a 23-3 record.
Miller and reporter Mac Cordell are nipping at his heels with matching 22-4 marks.
Cordell slipped a bit with a 6-1 record this past week.
Publisher Kevin Behrens went 6-1 and sports reporter Sam Dillon was 5-2.
They are both tied for the season at 20-6.
Our guest Pickers are Dave Laslow of Burger King, Dean Cook of Dean Cook Nationwide Insurance, Bob Van Hoose of Van Hoose Garage Doors and Rob Eubanks of Eubanks Electric.

Disclaimers:
Williamson: “I think Marysville is pretty much in an even battle this week. It should be a tough fight. Mechanicsburg is just a monster this year so I think Fairbanks will have a tough time. The pro games are pretty difficult to judge this week. I almost went with the Bengals but just couldn’t do it, regardless of how bad the Eagles have looked. The Browns have more talent than the WFT, but if the Browns line doesn’t handle the Washington front, Baker could be running for his life.”
Miller: “The Monarchs are going up against an unknown team in Olentangy Berlin. MHS has never played the Bears in football. The Panthers of Fairbanks are in for a tough battle.”
Behrens: “This week is moving week in the Pickers race. I am out on a limb with Berlin, but I am in last place and need to take a shot to make up ground in a hurry on the group. If the Browns and Cincy come through, next week’s standings could look at a lot different with only a few weeks left in the season.”
Cordell: “This has really been a fun season…different, but interesting and really fun!”
Dillon: “Not much to add this week. North Union will roll to an easy win over an Urbana team that is in its second season of struggles.”
Laslow: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Cook: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Van Hoose: “Good luck to the local teams!”
Eubanks: “Good luck to the local teams!”
