The Monarch boys golfers downed Hilliard Darby by shooting a nine-hole low score for the season on Monday.
MHS carded a 166, while Darby finished with a 176.
Dylan Tremayne of Marysville was the medalist with a 38. He was followed by Chris Borjas-39, Sameer Parashar-44 and Tyler Smith-45.
Lady Panthers
take tri match
Fairbanks’ girls golf team won a triangular match on Monday at Marysville Golf Course.
The Lady Panthers shot a 181, Triad finished with a 248 and Madison Plains tallied a 261.
Audrey Brackenridge led Fairbanks with a medalist round of 40, followed by Natalie Parker-45, Emily Wilson-46 and Rachel Studenmund-50.
Kayleigh Boldman topped Triad with a 56, followed by Lexi Moore-58, Anna Nott-65 and Olivia Butz-69.
Alder linksmen win
Jonathan Alder’s boys scored a 156-184 verdict over Kenton Ridge at Buck Ridge.
JA’s Joey Petrella was the medalist with a 37. Other Alder scores were Hayden Mitchell-39 and Mychal McKelvey, Tyler Hilbert and Liam Thompson-each with a 40.
MHS girls place
The Lady Monarchs were 13th out of 14 teams at Saturday’s Upper Arlington-Gahanna Invitational.
MHS scores were Katie Bischoff-91, Maddie Powers-96, Olivia Virts-100 and Olivia Ishmael-106 for a team score of 393.
Bunsold girls triumph
The Bunsold girls won their second consecutive match, beating Bexley in a seven-hole contest (no team scores reported).
Cassi Van Dyke shot a 37, followed by Avery Prohaska-46, Emily Williams-48 and Catie Johnson-56.
