At 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a 2006 International dump truck, driven by Shaun McCarty, 32, of Cardington, lost control and drove off the right side of U.S. 36, between White Stone and Springdale Roads, and into a ditch. The truck then rolled over but landed upright, spilling its load of concrete. McCarty was transported to Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries and was issued a traffic citation for failure to control his vehicle.
