Richard Campbell Gerard, 87, of London, died on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. Born Oct. 11, 1929, in Marysville, he was the son of Gertrude Campbell and Ralph Gerard.

Union Rural Electric Cooperative and Buckeye Power are working together on the construction of solar panels at a URE substation located next to the Jerome Township Hall on Industrial Parkway. On Wednesday, at about 3:20 p.m., Marysville firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the Schulze, Howard & Cox Law Offices on South Main Street.
