Cathy C. Curtis, 75, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, Nov. 12 at her home. She was a beautiful free spirit and a talented artist who was well known for her flower arrangements throughout town. She worked for several flower shops through her working years and was an incredible gardener who loved to hunt for driftwood to help create her masterpieces. Eric Lynn Murray, age 59, of Richwood, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, following an extensive illness. He was a 911 dispatcher for the Union County Sheriff’s Office for many years. Eric was an avid fisherman, woodworker and craftsman. Some Marysville streets — including portions of London Avenue, South Main Street, and Ninth Street —were closed this morning as automobile industry officials tested in-car technology in the city. All this week Marysville has has served as host for OmniAir Consortium Plugfest, an event that bills itself as “the premier testing event for connected vehicle technologies.” This event offers a week of comprehensive lab, field and security testing for a variety of connected technologies and is designed as a “readiness event” for connected vehicles and infrastructure.
