Dennis Ray Johnson, 69, of Cable died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.  He was born Oct. 1, 1951 in Bellsville, Illinois to the late Phyllis J. The Fairbanks High School girls golf team finished just shy of earning a district tournament berth on Wednesday. The Lady Panthers shot a team score of 384 during the 18-hole sectional event. That placed FHS just two strokes shy of qualifing for the district. Mary Weisburn led Fairbanks with an 82. That qualified her to compete in the district tournament as an individual next week. The North Union girls soccer team picked up two wins and a tie over the past few days. The Lady Cats play mostly a JV schedule. NU, though, scored a recent 3-1 victory over Pleasant’s varsity squad.
