Police responded to a head-on injury crash on U.S. 33, west of the Delaware Avenue exit, Monday at 11:50 a.m. The crash occurred after a Honda traveling the wrong way on westbound lanes struck an Acura traveling eastbound. Police do not yet know why the driver of the Honda, Miranda Wessa, 24, of Woodstock, was driving the wrong way on U.S. 33. At least one person was transported after a two-vehicle injury crash on London Avenue and Morey Drive this morning at around 8:15 a.m. The crash resulted in one vehicle veering off the roadway and into the yard of a medical facility. One person was transported for medical attention after an injury crash on Route 4 and Scott Farms Boulevard at about 3 p.m. Wednesday. Madison Shelly, 18, of Route 31, was turning left off Scott Farms Boulevard when she was struck by a Honda sedan driven by Janet Wright, 71, of Richwood. Shelly was charged with running a stop sign, while Wright was transported to Memorial Hospital. The incident disrupted traffic for about 20 minutes, after which most emergency vehicles had cleared the area and officers began directing traffic. (Journal-Tribune photo by Will Channell)
