The post-bowling season is upon us and several local teams will be moving on to the next level. The Jonathan Alder Pioneers and North Union Wildcats have advanced both the boy and girl’s teams to the Division II Central District meet and will be joined by the Fairbanks Panthers boy’s team. The Lady Panthers season came to a close at a sectional meet.
The Pioneers where able to take second place at a sectional meet with a team score of 3,992 team points while, the Fairbanks Panthers took fifth place at the meet with team score of 3,711 points. The North Union Wildcats took eighth place at the sectional meet with a team score of 3,539 pins.
Jacob Schrock was the Pioneers top bowler tallying a three-game total of 655 pins. Andrew Clark collected a total of 622 points.
Joshua Devore rolled his way to a 541 along with Nathan Clark, who also tallied a 541 and Luke Honigford finished out the team of five with a 531.
Anthony Nichols was the Panthers top-performing bowler collecting 636 pins over three games. Jacob Nichols tallied a 588 three-game total. JD Welch 498 pins during his three game performance. Trevin Rausch collected 452 points and Michael Kutz was able to tally 282 points over two games.
Connor Brandt was the Wildcats top-performing bowler collecting a three-game point total of 565. Grant Daum rolled his way to a 515. Blain Keckler picked up 511 pins over three games. Riley Young tallied a 502 three-game total. Matt Millington picked up 183 pins over one game to help the Cats advance.
Cierra Clark was able to to take top honors for the Lady Pioneers with a three-game total of 524. Kadie Walter picked up 477 pins. Lana Kirts rolled her way to a 460. Josie Campbell collected 138 pins for one game and Chloey Boyer-Burns rolled 143 for one game.
Ameila England took top honors for the Lady Cats with a three-game total of 459, while Kendra Nicol picked up 458 pins. Lindsey Anderson rolled a 414. Kaylee Smith tallied a 404 and Kallie Price picked up 394 pins over three games.
Lily Dellinger picked up 448 pin three-game total to earn the Lady Panthers top spot. Kenzie Nichols tallied a 400. Sophia Lytle picked up 385 pins. Grace Koenig rolled her way to a 330 and Brie Walters finished out the team scoring with a 328.
The qualifying teams will bowl for a Central District title at HP Lanes on Thursday.
